Our client, an Oil and Gas service company are looking for an experienced fully Qualified Accountant to join the team on a permanent basis. The company is part of a PLC and will offer fantastic career progression opportunities to the successful candidate, as well as the opportunity to join a dynamic and experienced team on site.
Role responsibilities:
Reporting to the the UK FD and on site MD you will form part of the senior management team in Aberdeen.
This role will involve the management and financial control of the Aberdeen site working closely with commercial and operational management.
Monthly and annual reporting to PLC
P&L and balance sheet responsibilities
Advising areas for profit improvement/recovery
Encourage profit awareness, cash maximisation, corporate standards and robust financial management
Review and advise IT developments and improve financial reporting and control where required
Support the MD in strategic decision making, including, key contract review and tender
You will be a qualified accountant with experience gained within a commercial environment. This role is very much a senior commercial decision support role and, as such, will sit on the senior management team in Aberdeen.
