Based in Glasgow, my client, a reputable Plc, has a unique job opportunity for a Qualified Chartered Accountant to join their corporate reporting team in Glasgow.
The main purpose of the role is to work proactively with all business units to ensure that all reporting packs and statutory accounts are produced to a high standard, to agreed timetables and are technically correct.
Job duties will include:
Preparation of consolidated reports
Preparation of year end reporting pack
Preparation and review of subsidiary accounts ensuring compliance with company law and IFRS
Reviewing regulatory accounts to ensure compliance with relevant standards
Maintaining a strong control environment, ensuring all processes and procedures comply with group policies
Taking a lead role in any key projects and change initiatives
The ideal candidate will be fully Qualified and ideally be either from a large practice or a large corporate organisation with significant financial reporting experience (ideally under UK GAAP and IFRS).
