Based in Edinburgh city centre, my client, a large, reputable accountancy firm has an excellent job opportunity for an Assistant Manager.
Working as part of a large team you will support the Manager/Senior Manager in the management and delivery of audits for a varied client portfolio, including a number of blue-chip corporations and financial services organisations.
Job duties will include; audit planning, day to day management of field teams including review of audit work and reporting, liaison with key client staff and regular engagement with the Partner. You will also be expected to assist with driving technical and business development initiatives within the team.
The ideal candidate will be a fully Qualified Accountant seeking career progression within a larger firm, where you will gain access to large complex clients. Furthermore you will have the ability to work on your own initiative, possess a track record of establishing strong relationships with clients and a working knowledge of financial reporting and controls.
Previous experience of IFRS would be advantageous, however is not essential.
