A major Financial Services company based in Edinburgh is seeking a Project Planner to assist in the delivery of a major migration project. This is an exciting job opportunity which allow you exposure into a high profile project.
You will be responsible for supporting the Project Manager in the delivery of an overall project plan, creating and implementing a "Run Book" and managing Risk logs. You will also be involved in various project responsibilities such as incorporating individual Finance workstream plans, tracking and reporting on project costs and maintaining detailed staff rotas to cover rehearsal and migration events. 90% of this job will revolve around delivery of the overall project plan and incorporating the various workstreams into the project.
A major requirement will be to ensure that all Finance considerations are assessed appropriately throughout the migration and you will be working closely with other members of the Finance Programme so excellent communication skills are essential. The successful candidate must have previous experience of working within a project environment and must have experience of Run Book builds; Dress Rehearsal/Proving cycles and ideally experience of Financial Reconciliation processes. Extensive Project Planning experience within Financial Services is essential.
