Our client, a leader in its' field, is currently seeking a finalist or fully Qualified Accountant to take on a post that is key to the strategic development of the organisation. Primarily focussing on financial analysis, project accounting and cost allocation, this position would be an ideal position for an individual who has experience of a Business Partnering role. Your focus will be on building reports and presenting financial information to suit business strategic requirements.
To be successful in this post, you will likely have worked in a large, complex organisation and worked closely with non-financial managers and budget holders to communicate financial information. You will ensure that Budget holders receive timely financial advice, variance analysis and commentary to enable business decision making and will contribute to financial planning and the annual budget process. You will manage a small team of Analysts and will support the development of policies, procedures and staff. Experience of managing staff is highly desirable.
This post would suit a highly analytical individual who is looking to add value to an organisation. In addition to some routine month-end reporting, you will be tasked with monitoring project finances, resource allocation and profit and loss / balance sheet analysis.
Strong IT skills, in particular in the use of Microsoft Excel are essential for this post.
