A major Financial Services organisation based in Edinburgh is seeking an Audit Manager for the Operations team in where you will be responsible for auditing high risk areas such as payments, trade, AML, sanctions and purchasing. This is an exciting job opportunity which will allow you to work in a high performance audit function and be able to gain huge exposure within the business with good scope for progression.
You will be responsible for leading audits of varying size and complexity where you will be able to plan and manage audit assignments and lead colleagues on certain specific assignments. By working collaboratively with colleagues, you will be able to provide robust and challenging insights into the business risk and control processes and to influence the management of change within the Group.
The successful candidate will have strong Financial Services experience and hold an accounting, audit or risk management qualification. Audit experience and knowledge of banking and financial services is essential. You must have a good understanding of risk and controls as well as experience of leading teams and managing business relationships.
