A major Financial Services organisation based in Edinburgh is seeking a Qualified Accountant to join the iXBRL Central Support Team which has a responsibility for the control and monitoring of iXBRL Reporting across the business. This is an exciting job opportunity where you will be able to utilise and develop your skills within a small team.
Your primary responsibility will be to independently review tagged accounts and to review and re-engineer existing templates on an ongoing basis. You will use iXBRL Conversion software to tag these templates and monitor changes to IFRS Accounting Standards and UK IFRS Taxonomies in order to understand the impact on these templates and the changes involved.
This is an excellent contracting opportunity which will allow you to utilise your reporting experience within a small team and give you good exposure into a major Financial services organisation. iXBRL training will be provided and the candidate will require strong IFRS statutory accounting knowledge.
